Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Free FlowChart Maker handles data in the browser based version of the app. The short version is simple: core board data is saved locally in your browser, not in a Free FlowChart Maker server database.

No account required

Free FlowChart Maker is designed to work without user accounts for the core whiteboard experience. You do not need to create a login or profile to create a local board.

No server side board storage

Boards are saved in your browser using IndexedDB. Free FlowChart Maker does not provide cloud backup or server side board storage in this version.

Local settings

Small preferences such as a recent board id or editor setting may be stored in localStorage. These settings stay in your browser.

Imported and exported files

Exported JSON files stay on your device. Imported JSON files are processed in your browser and saved locally only when you choose to import them.

Clearing browser data

Clearing site data, using private browsing, resetting your browser, or changing devices can remove saved boards. Export important boards for backup.

Personal data

Free FlowChart Maker does not sell personal data. The core app does not require tracking to create and save boards locally.

Contact form note

The included contact form is frontend only. If you connect a form provider later, that provider may process form submissions according to its own policy.
